about half of all adults deal with some sort of Chronic illness. Here's how we helped to spread some awareness.

For the Atlanta Fringe Festival, I was able to help a dear new friend tell her story of dealing with rheumatoid arthritis. We only had about 4 weeks to put a 45 minute play together but we did it to mostly sold out crowds for our 4 total shows! It was an experience I won't ever forget.

Alex Carter was a normal 20 year old, enjoying life and leaving home to pursue a dream, when she had an allergic reaction to medication that she was taking for her rheumatoid arthritis. Carter took the time to tell about her rare brush with death by way of Stevens-Johnson syndrome in her blog My Sudden Sight. Those words and a few recalled memories helped bring her play, Depth Perception, to life where she tells the story of how her life completely changed from her month spent in the hospital.

Above is the concept short film It Was You for a project entitled Keys to the Castle by local budding filmmaker Eralphia. He's been testing out some lighting concepts and camera angles. If you're an actor/actress in the Atlanta area and want to do some quick solid work, look him up!
